  1. When is the 2013 Fair?

  1. How much does it cost to attend the Fair?
  2. Gate prices are $8 for adults, ages 6-12 $4 and 5 & under are free! Parking is $4.  For discounted tickets see the admission prices on the Visitors Info page.
  1. Where can I purchase carnival tickets?
  2. Individual ride tickets can only be purchased throughout the midway. A SuperPass can be purchased at advanced ticketing locations.

    The grounds are conveniently located off of I-44 and Highway 13 at exit 77. Take Kansas Expressway north to Norton road and head east. The Fairgrounds is located on the north side of the road just past the Dickerson Park Zoo.

  1. What time do the Fairgrounds gates open and close?
  2. The Fair gates open from 11 a.m to 11 p.m. daily. Fair buildings are open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m, EPlex open 11 a.m to 9 p.m. The midway will open at 1 p.m. The midway may remain open past 11 p.m. dependent upon crowds and weather conditions. The midway will open at 1 p.m. on FREE RIDE Day. For more information on the carnival, visit the Fox KRBK Midway page. Livestock shows begin daily at 8:00 a.m. Please see the Livestock page for schedule.

  2. Advanced tickets are now on sale at area Price Cutter locations and PFI Western Store.  For more information, visit the Visitor Info page.
  1. When do Grandstand tickets go on sale? Where can I purchase them?

  1. Do Grandstand tickets include Fair admission?
  2. Grandstand tickets do not include admission to the Fair. Fair admission must be purchased separately. For more information, visit the Visitor Info page.
  1. Are pets allowed on Fair grounds?
  2. No, pets are not allowed on the Fairgrounds during the Fair or any other events with the exception of service animals and dogs registered to perform in a competition.
  1. Where are ATMs located?
  2. An ATM is available in the lobby of the E*Plex and along the midway across from the Guest Services building and next to the Police substation.
  1. Where are lost items claimed?
  2. Lost and found is located at the Guest Services Building located along the midway next to the Palen Music Stage.
  1. Does the Fair have motorized scooters?
  2. Yes, there are a limited number available for rental. They are adjacent to Gate #5A at the west end of the grounds next to the KTXR/KWTO Karaoke Stage.
  1. Where can I rent strollers or wagons at the Fair?
  2. FREE use of strollers and wagons are available on a first come, first serve basis inside the Guest Services Building located along the midway next to the Palen Music Stage. A deposit in the form of license or car keys is required.
  1. Where can I find results and when are they posted?
  2. Results are generally posted within 2-3 days of the event under the Life & Arts Results page and the Livestock Results page.
  1. Are there camping sites available during Fair time?
  2. Unfortunately, camping is limited to livestock exhibitors, employees of the current carnival and commercial vendors.

  1. Is smoking allowed on the Fairgrounds?
  2. Smoking is limited to areas designated throughout the grounds.
  1. Where is handicap parking located?
  2. Handicap parking is available in the West lot near the Dickerson Park Zoo and the North Woods lot across from Hillcrest High School.
  1. What type of handicap accommodations is available in the Grandstand?
  2. Handicap seating is available in the wheelchair areas on the front row and ends of the lower grandstand with one companion seat.
