Author Christina D. George - Guest Speaker

Christina D. George is a speaker and author who explores what it means to carry responsibility for a long time without always naming its cost. In her talk, When Pressure Is Constant , she reflects on how everyday readiness can become physical — and how accurate language reduces isolation without diminishing strength. Her work offers steady, relatable insight for women who manage much behind the scenes and invites a more supportive way of holding what matters.

From Setback to Impact: How One Woman's Advocacy Sparked Innovation

Jackie Maes, Health Access Director of Health Hub Clinic, shares how advocating for her own children during some of life's most challenging seasons became the catalyst for building mission-driven organizations, Discovery School at Discovery Center, the new Health Hub Clinic and Health Guardian Imaging Center. What began as a mother's determination to find better solutions grew into a calling to create them. Jackie speaks candidly about resilience, leadership, and the courage it takes to build what doesn't yet exist. Attendees will leave empowered to turn their own setbacks into meaningful impact.

KY3's The Place to host the Women's Show

We want to welcome The Place to host the KY3 Women's Show.

KY3's daily lifestyle show, "The Place," was relaunched in June of 2025 with three new hosts: Kelly Smith, Nate Sallie, and Mitch Brashers. Drawing from her extensive experience as a music artist, actress, stage performer, and her eight years of live television experience, Kelly Smith is well-known for the vibrancy and levity she brings to her audiences. Her career highlights include performing as the voice of Cher in the TV movie "And the Beat Goes On," and spending eight years performing at Legends in Branson. Nate Sallie, who graduated from Evangel University in 1998, brings his gifts for on-air talent to the show, drawing on his vast music background as the lead singer of Newsong for over a decade, as well as owning heyday Music & Dance Academy in Ozark, MO. Mitch Brashers has been part of the local music community for years as the manager of Ernie Williamson Music, as well as having played with multiple bands and running live sound for decades. Together, these three hosts deliver engaging content focused on local attractions, dining, family activities, and lifestyle tips, making "The Place" the go-to destination for viewers looking to discover the best that the Ozarks has to offer."
